This is a full-time position, located in Athens Greece. The Baseband Unit (BBU) Support Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HELIOS 5G BBU and gNodeB hardware and software, working along with our 5G RAN Support Team. You will  ensure high performance and reliability for our Private 5G  equipment during commissioning and after sales maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning and Integration: Perform commissioning of 5G BBU/gNodeB, including loading data configuration files, managing site alarms, and verifying functionality.          
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve 5G network performance, connectivity, and hardware issues (Level 1/2 support).
  • Maintenance: Conduct on-site and remote health checks, upgrades, and maintenance of 5G infrastructure. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including site-specific configuration reports and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
