This position is tailored for either an experienced Claims Team Lead looking for a high-velocity environment or a senior Claims Handler ready to step up into formal people leadership. The client prioritizes exceptional drive, strong technical capability, and work ethic over raw tenure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and line-manage a dedicated team of Claims Handlers.
  • Drive operational excellence across quality metrics, team productivity, and customer satisfaction SLAs.
  • Manage daily workflow allocation, file assignment, and overall team capacity.
  • Conduct regular claims quality reviews and provide technical coaching to optimize team output.
  • Maintain complete portfolio oversight while identifying and escalating high-exposure risks early.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in external client meetings and technical reviews.
  • Manage a small, select portfolio of claims directly to maintain technical sharpness.
