Credit Risk Manager

The Credit Risk Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of credit exposure across the group’s chartering, broking, financing, and other transactional activities. The Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining credit limit protocols and individual counterparty limits, as well as management of interest-charging policy and practice, credit default identification, escalation, and reporting. The function requires close coordination with Finance colleagues on outstanding receivables and receipts, as well as with Legal on recoveries and commercial teams on mitigations and strategy.

1. Credit Risk Operations

 

-          Develop, implement, and maintain a robust credit risk policy accounting for counterparty types, transactions, regions, and sectors.

-          Monitor and enforce credit limits for counterparties, ensuring compliance with internal thresholds.

-          Develop and implement policy on application of interest terms in contracts.

-          Identify and escalate defaults and potential defaults.

-          Consult with relevant stakeholders on mitigations and recoveries.

-          Maintain a centralised tracking system for credit exposures, overdue accounts, and recovery efforts.

Vous serez amené(e) à effectuer des déplacements réguliers (environ 1 fois par mois) en Europe pour visiter les sites des fournisseurs, et plus fréquemment sur le site de construction en France.

Requirements

  • Diplôme d’ingénieur (Bac+5) ou expérience significative en gestion de projet dans le domaine naval.
  • 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en encadrement technique ou en bureau d’études/production.
  • Bonne maîtrise des normes et standards de la construction navale.
  • Excellente organisation, sens du reporting, capacité d’anticipation et pragmatisme.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’écrit comme à l’oral.

As part of a major offshore energy project, we are looking for a Hull Marine Systems Engineer to join the technical team as a resident engineer in China. You will act as a key focal point for all hull marine systems activities related to the FPSO, working closely with the FPSO Engineering Manager and the EPCIC contractor to ensure quality, compliance, and performance.

Supervise and validate engineering studies for hull marine systems: ballast, bilge, HVAC marine, cargo pumps, winches, cranes, offloading systems, auxiliary generators, etc.

  • Review and approve technical documentation, engineering drawings, and workshop plans.
  • Monitor construction and integration of marine systems at the shipyard in China.
  • Coordinate with vendors for selection, procurement, FAT, deliveries, and installation.
  • Provide technical support for commissioning, repair, and life-extension activities of hull systems.
  • Contribute to spare parts strategy and schedule optimization.
  • Prepare and participate in project technical reviews and decision-making meetings.
  • Support compliance with FPSO classification and regulatory requirements.
  • Report regularly to the FPSO Engineering Manager and escalate critical issues.
  • Actively participate in yard inspections and vendor site visits.

 Capacité à faire appliquer les procédures du projet:
