SQE Coordinator

As a part of your role, you will:

  • Support SQE Department and SQE Superintendents
  • Review all vessels’ incoming memo and coordinate correspondence
  • Update SMS manuals and forms
  • Handle documentations of vessels’ entries to countries
  • Prepare DTF for vessels
  • Support audits and reviews processes
  • Conduct SQE department’s filing
  • Monitor status and organize/attend Company and vessel 3rd Party and Internal Audits attending to the closing of any findings
  • Monitor PSC inspections and closing of defects.
  • Monitor and close findings of Safety Meetings.
  • Carry out revisions to ISM Manuals
  • Support vetting tasks

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Degree in Shipping/Maritime
  • Relevant experience in an SQE Department (SMS manuals, vetting, PSC, audits)
  • Computer literacy, (experience with Danaos Software will be considered as an additional asset)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Efficiency in troubleshooting, organizing skills, attention to detail
  • Experience in a relevant position will be considered an asset
