As an IT Support Engineer

You will provide remote IT Support services across all vessels of the fleet and Piraeus office employees

As a part of your role, you will:

  • Provide on call and remotely 1st level support to vessels for regarding Software, Hardware, Network, OS and communication issues
  • Maintain vessels backup systems and virtual infrastructure
  • Provide advanced IT support to office employees regarding Software, Hardware, Network and OS
  • Conduct new buildings installations
  • Provide 1st level support to office employees regarding Software, Hardware, Network and OS issues
  • Be responsible for vessels systems integration (servers, UTMs, networks, special shipping equipment)


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have

  • Degree in Information Technology
  • Experience of 3-5 in an IT support role
  • Experience with MS Active Directory. MS Windows and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of VMWare Environments
  • Good Knowledge of Networks
  • Ability to travel abroad, if necessary
  • Familiarity with English language
  • Good communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork

The IT Help Desk Technician provides Level 1 and 2 support for technology devices and applications in the workplace. The role is responsible for timely resolution of incidents and requests received at the Help Desk Desk. The Technician is responsible for provision, build and configuration of company issued devices and those that are in our facilities. They are responsible for initial triage, support and resolution of application incidents and provisioning requests. The technician adheres to IT Service Management (ITSM) processes through consistent logging and resolution of tickets logged in the system. They will maintain workplace device inventory, prepare reports and work on custom projects for business users. The role requires a high level of interaction with business users and IT teams with a mindset to go above and beyond to enable superior customer experience.
