The Office of Clinical Informatics within the Office of Health Informatics (OHI), Digital Health Office (DHO) advances the enterprise standard of care and patient experience using improved data, tools, and informatics processes organized around continuously delivering value to its customers. This is achieved through Lean-Agile delivery of clinical practice solutions that support best practice standards for clinical care. OHI is further responsible for ensuring the success of the modernized VA EHR, Oracle Health Millennium/Cerner through continuous exploration, integration, deployment and release on demand of Integrated Health Technology (IHT) solutions. These efforts aim to increase Veterans' access to care and support their active participation in their healthcare. Terminology Leadership and Strategy

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC), Veteran Directed Care (VDC) Program is currently implemented at all Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC). The VDC program provides Veteran-centric services in a sustainable manner and to assist in re-balancing VHA’s investment in Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), made possible by shifting resources from nursing homes to home and community-based services.

The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, direction, evaluation and continuous improvement of the assigned project. The incumbent oversees both operational and administrative components to ensure that the project is in compliance with VHA policies, directives, and performance metrics.

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC) Veteran and Family Member Programs (VFMP) oversees five statutory health benefit programs that provide healthcare services to more than 1,000,000 eligible beneficiaries and Veterans in the United States and 6 million service-connected eligible Veterans around the world.

VFMP partners with hundreds of thousands of non-VA providers, domestic and international, to ensure timely access to health care and pharmacy services. Essential to VFMP’s provider partnership is widely available information about its programs, eligibilities, coverages, and billing, along with bi-directional provider communication and document exchange supporting health benefits administration.

VFMP requires modern external-and internal facing platforms and automation solutions to manage end-to-end health benefits operations for a growing population of users. Further, VFMP requires mechanisms to remain in continued contact with both individuals and the broader Veteran and beneficiary demographics we serve; VFMP programs are lesser known, prone to confusion and misinformation, and require consistent messaging to ensure users have ease of access to care.
