Project Manager - Healthcare IT Governance

The Project Manager will provide project management, governance analysis, committee coordination, and meeting facilitation support to the ITC federal lead, helping the committee assess enterprise health information technology priorities and advance its work.

 

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in strategic assessment of enterprise‑level health IT portfolios, providing insight that drives long‑term organizational planning, resource prioritization, and coordinated governance action. They possess a comprehensive understanding of VA and VHA governance structures, policies, and procedures, applying this knowledge to oversee complex enterprise health technology initiatives and lead governance secretariat functions. The role requires exceptional executive communication skills, with demonstrated success briefing high‑level committees, engaging senior VA leaders, and collaborating across interdisciplinary and external partners. The candidate also serves as a trusted advisor, delivering senior‑level analysis and coordination support to VHA IT governance bodies to ensure effective oversight, informed decision‑making, and alignment with organizational priorities.
