Researcher, Lending Vertical - On-Chain Economic Security

Location: Remote - Preference for NYC but will accept Remote Europe & USA - would need to overlap EST hours

Compensation: $120K - $150K

We empower protocols by optimizing risk management and capital efficiency using world-class custom EVM simulations to provide actionable insights. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Researcher to join our team, reporting directly to the Vertical Lead, Lending.

You will play a critical role in conducting in-depth protocol research, modeling risk parameters, and communicating findings with high-impact stakeholders in the DeFi lending vertical. This position requires deep analytical skills, the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic guidance, and a strong understanding of decentralized finance mechanics.

Quantitative Software Engineer - DeFi Economic Optimization

We manage market risk, optimize growth, and ensure economic safety for protocols facilitating most spot trading, borrowing, and lending activity across all of DeFi, securing over $42 billion in customer TVL. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Software Engineers to drive the safe progression of future financial systems.

You will be at the intersection of quantitative finance and software engineering, driving the design and implementation of risk management and optimization strategies for major DeFi protocols. This role involves full ownership, from building robust data pipelines and core modeling platforms to deploying logic that enhances capital efficiency and risk-adjusted yields.

We are seeking experienced Data Scientists to help new and established protocols better understand and optimize the systems they've built.

In this role, you will work directly with the premier and most innovative DeFi protocols, developing expert-level knowledge of the mechanisms that underpin the industry. This requires a strong ability to perform in-depth quantitative research, manage client engagements end-to-end, and translate complex data insights into clear, actionable value.
