We are hiring on behalf of our client, an industry-leading accelerator program focusing on the intersection of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence is seeking a highly autonomous and proactive Data Scientist to join its core engineering group. Having backed over 300 high-growth startups now collectively valued in the tens of billions, our client provides an exceptional launchpad for high-impact innovation.

In this role, the candidate will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and take full end-to-end ownership of data products—from defining initial requirements to deploying reliable production systems. This is an entirely onsite role based in New York City (NYC) designed for an ambitious, self-directed builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-agency environment without requiring extensive product management or dedicated platform engineering support.

Data Scientist - DeFi Quantitative Research

Location: Remote - US, Canada and would consider candidates based in Puerto Rico

Compensation: $150K - $200K

We are a Series B quantitative research and optimization company that leads the field in DeFi economics. We manage market risk, optimize growth, and ensure economic safety for protocols facilitating most spot trading, borrowing, and lending activity across all of DeFi, protecting and optimizing the largest protocols and networks in the industry. We build institutional-grade vaults for decentralized finance and currently manage risk and incentives covering over $42 billion in customer TVL. We are seeking experienced Data Scientists to help new and established protocols better understand and optimize the systems they've built.

In this role, you will work directly with the premier and most innovative DeFi protocols, developing expert-level knowledge of the mechanisms that underpin the industry. This requires a strong ability to perform in-depth quantitative research, manage client engagements end-to-end, and translate complex data insights into clear, actionable value.

    • Validation reports.
