The position will lead the effective management of equipment assets within the marine seismic survey industry. This role ensures that the organization accurately tracks, optimally utilizes, and strategically manages its assets to maximize operational efficiency, control costs, and support long-term business objectives. In addition, this position drives asset performance, maintains inventory accuracy, and implements best practices to enhance asset lifecycle management and operational reliability.

The role combines hands-on operational expertise with a strategic, forward-looking approach, ensuring that assets are not only properly accounted for but also aligned with the organization’s broader strategic goals. Working closely with engineering, operations, finance, and procurement teams, the successful candidate will ensure that all assets are managed efficiently, safely, and sustainably throughout their entire lifecycle. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing all transactional accounting activities across the organization, ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal control requirements. The role manages key accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury accounting, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations, while supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key responsibilities include:

Transaction Accounting Management

• Lead and oversee day-to-day transactional accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank and cash transactions, Intercompany transactions and reconciliations, Employee expense accounting, Fixed asset accounting support.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
