About the role:

The Director of Cybersecurity & Information Security will provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, monitoring risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect Financeit in Canada and in the US. The position actively interacts with business management, Legal and Compliance, Operations, Information Technology, other control functions, and regulators.  

This position will report to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Principal Security Engineer - Blockchain Wallet Infrastructure

Location: Remote - Location: US or EU (remote-first, office optional). Must be in the US, not Canada or in the European Union. France or Paris or as close as possible, always preferred

Compensation: $220K - $300K

Data Security Analysis:

• Assess current data access policies, security protocols, and data classification procedures.
  

Databricks Component Design:

• Create detailed design of data access control mechanisms within Databricks using appropriate features.
  
  

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Collaborate with the Platform Architect to ensure alignment between data security controls and the overall UAM architecture.
  
• Document the design and implementation of data access control within Databricks.
