The role is based in Dubai, UAE and official job title would be Finance Manager - Transaction Accounting.

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing all transactional accounting activities across the organization, ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal control requirements. The role manages key accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury accounting, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations, while supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key responsibilities include:

Transaction Accounting Management

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day transactional accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank and cash transactions, Intercompany transactions and reconciliations, Employee expense accounting, Fixed asset accounting support.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with IFRS and company policies.

The key responsibilities of this role are to implement the International Safety Management (ISM) Code onboard and ashore, ensure compliance with ISM, TMSA/DryBMS, ISO Standards, Company Safety Management System (SMS) and conduct internal audits as well as incident investigations.
