Role Overview
Interocean is looking for a Survey Engineer / Workshop Manager to join our team permanently. The role will focus on supporting survey operations through effective equipment setup, testing, mobilisation support, and workshop management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, checklists, and a sensor tracking system to ensure readiness and reliability of all survey equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workshop activities, ensuring equipment readiness and maintenance.
  • Oversee mobilisation and demobilisation of survey equipment, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain equipment tracking and management systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment specifications, wire diagrams, and spares.
  • Establish standard mobilisation checklists and procedures for each sensor type.
  • Provide remote and field-based troubleshooting support to offshore teams.
  • Work closely with the Subsea & Survey Manager to ensure best practice across the survey department.

Senior Online Surveyor

Reports to: Subsea & Survey Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Online Surveyor with a strong background in nearshore and offshore operations to join Interocean on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing survey department procedures, leading survey scopes within the UK 12 Nautical Miles and offshore waters, and providing remote troubleshooting and assistance to our field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead survey operations within the 12NM limit and in offshore environments.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for the survey department.
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting to both offshore and nearshore survey teams.
  • Ensure data quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Act as a technical lead under the supervision of the Subsea & Survey Manager.
  • Support training and development of junior surveyors and offshore teams.
