DOF Australia is currently accepting Expressions of Interest for Integrated Rating, Marine Engineer and Deck Officer Cadetships and Traineeships. As part of our commitment to developing the next generation of maritime professionals, we are continually looking to build our talent pool. While we are not currently recruiting for these positions, we encourage interested candidates to register their interest in future opportunities. As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our vessels' mechanical and electrical systems. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and diagnosing any technical issues that may arise during operations.

Shifts can vary between 13 - 15 hours in duration depending on the day of the week and peak holiday times and follow a 3 days on 3 days off roster including public holidays.  Based primarily out of our Hamer Street terminal, you will gain wide exposure to all our vessels and as such, no two days will be the same.

We are seeking a Marine Engineer that has a minimum of 2 years experience, to join our dynamic team of maritime professionals, and embark on a rewarding career in marine engineering with SeaLink Travel Group!

Join DOF as a Marine Engineer (OOW Engineers)

DOF is actively hiring experienced Marine Engineer (OOW Engineers) for casual opportunities on various vessels. As a Marine Engineer with DOF, you would be maintaining our world class fleet of vessels. Our Marine Engineers take pride in our assets and work to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Offshore Marine experience as a 2nd Engineer (OOW Engineers) with DP experience.
• Hold a minimum Engineer Watch COC CL2.
• Current experience working on DP2 offshore vessels such as MPSV and/or CSV.
• Hold a current AMSA and/or Norwegian medical or similar.
• Hold a current BOSIET and CAEBS and MISC is preferred.
• DP maintenance certificate is beneficial.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented.

• Be Able to travel at short notice with Australian Work rights.
