We are currently recruiting a Senior Full Management Accounts Officer, to join the dynamic team of the Accounts Department of our client, an international ship management company, a global leader in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the books and records of designated vessels and providing accurate management reporting.  

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Holder of a University Degree in Accounting/Finance or any other related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Full Management Accountant within a Shipmanagement company  
  • High level of commitment with a drive to deliver results under pressure
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
  • Computer literate with excellent command of the MS Office suite
  • Excellent command of the written and spoken English language

Role Overview:

  • Maintain control systems over accounting transactions
  • Support accounts payable processes, including subcontractor payments and weekly payroll
  • Assist with sales invoicing and other financial documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Accounting Department, including coordination across various accounting processes.
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners as required.
  • Reconcile invoices with sales orders and incoming payments.
  • Reconcile outgoing payments, bank accounts, and intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare payment instructions and process bank deposits.
  • Organize and record bookkeeping transactions for all companies within the Group.

  • Maintain both digital and physical financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
