Academic Role

·         In charge of all training activities at SeaLearn Academy / SeaLearn Training Institute.

·         Ensure the curriculum and syllabus used are current, relevant, and up to date.

·         Implement maritime industry, company, and regulatory training requirements in line with best industry practices.

·         Ensure the Training Centre complies with approved standards and quality assurance systems in line with national and international requirements.

·         Represent SeaLearn and its parent company at international forums, conferences, and official meetings.

·         Serve as a member of the Think Tank for future training needs of SeaLearn Ltd.

Management Role

·         Act as Management Representative for SeaLearn Training Institutions and report to Top Management.

Credit Control Officer

We are seeking to recruit a Credit Control Officer on behalf of our client, a Property Management Services company based in Paphos. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and effective collection of accounts receivable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
  • Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables
  • Negotiate re-payment plans
  • Initiate legal proceedings in case clients fail or refuse to pay on time
  • Liaise with debt collection agencies and external legal advisors as required
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
