It is an annual survey that gathers information from enrolled Veterans regarding their perceived health status, experiences with health services, current and anticipated future health care usage, insurance coverage, access to telehealth, and demographic characteristics. Participation remains voluntary. The data collected has supported projections of future health care utilization and informed VHA leadership in planning for the evolved needs of the Veteran population. This information is being collected in accordance with section 3507 of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
