Total Resourcing Ltd are looking for an experienced Licensed Nuclear Operator to bridge the gap between active plant operations and the refurbishment project team. In this role, you will apply your control room expertise to support outage planning, permit strategies, and safety coordination during this critical overhaul.

You will act as a leader and mentor, ensuring that safety remains the top priority while driving complex refurbishment schedules.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Licensing: currently licensed (or previously licensed) as a Control Room Operator (CRO) or Shift Supervisor.
  • Outage Expertise: demonstrated experience in planned outage preparation and execution at CNE (specifically in operations roles such as Major Work Co-ordinator, Permit preparation, or Work Plan execution).
  • Refurbishment Experience: Prior experience in CANDU Refurbishment or Major Component Replacement (MCR) projects (e.g., Retube/Feeder Replacement, Steam Generator Replacement) is highly desirable.
  • System Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of the SNN/CNE management system and organizational processes.
  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.

QA/QS Superintendent

Reporting to the Project Director of refurbishment, the Superintendent Quality Assurance and Quality Surveillance will utilize their refurbishment experience to achieve project objectives on time, on budget and in compliance with applicable quality assurance and safety standards.

    • Evaluate activities of the contractor(s) who will participate in the execution of the project to ensure that they have implemented a quality assurance program that meets the requirements
    • Ensures the development of the Quality Assurance Program, applicable to the Refurbishment Project, its documentation and implementation, aligned with the requirements of the integrated management system
    • Verifies the procurement initiation documentation from the point of view of introducing the quality management requirements, in accordance with the applicable industry norms
    • Verifies the fulfillment of the applicable quality management requirements, in the performance of the contracts related to the refurbishment project
    • Ensures the verification of the inspection and testing plans (ITP) and of the supporting documents from the contracts related to the refurbishment project, from the point of view of complying with the applicable quality management requirements

      Operational Technical Procedures Manager (2)
