VHA Finance SME

posted by: spj_bot

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is executing a comprehensive enterprise-wide reorganization aligned with the Secretary’s memorandum and the “Veteran First” focused approach. This effort includes structural realignment, workforce and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) assessment, governance redesign, performance management modernization, and implementation planning.

The VHA reorganization will turn strategic intent into operational reality by establishing a unified, future‑ready structure that improves coordination, accountability, and performance across the organization. Through three structured sprints, the implementation will align people, processes, and systems, operationalize the new organizational design, and ensure seamless integration of key functions. Using a phased framework—Plan, Pre‑Assess, Assess, Implement, and Evaluate—workstreams will follow a consistent, coordinated approach that drives measurable progress toward Initial and Full Operating Capability.

This potential work will be a hybrid work schedule with work being done at the VHA Central Office and remotely.

Gritter Francona is looking for a Finance SME to support this potential project.
