Location: Remote - Must have an overlap with EST 9-5 working hours

Compensation: $180K - $300K

We build mission-critical infrastructure that delivers massive amounts of public web data to the companies training the world’s most powerful AI models. Our unique architecture leverages a massive, distributed bandwidth-sharing network to operate a large-scale global crawler, granting us access to high-quality public web data at scale. On top of this, we've built complex pipelines for ingesting, segmenting, and annotating billions of files, including videos, transcripts, and audio, empowering frontier AI labs with essential datasets.

We are a lean, technical team that moves fast, prioritizing high output and low ego. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with deep expertise to architect scalable solutions and drive technical excellence as we push the boundaries of open web data and AI.

You will join a small, talented team to lead the design and implementation of highly scalable backend systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the robustness and maintainability of the infrastructure that supports our massive distributed crawler and data processing pipelines. You will play a critical role in shaping the evolution of the internet's role in AI development.
