For one of our clients, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer, remotely from Canada.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the automation, integration, and system administration of critical infrastructure. You'll ensure the seamless operation of production systems used by millions of users while developing and maintaining tools and processes that empower the engineering team. This role requires you to apply your skills in scripting, automation, and system management to improve workflows, scalability, and operational efficiency. Collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and senior management will be essential to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement in the organization.

Insights are delivered over web and mobile applications, as well as through a rich set of APIs and SDKs. Our backend architecture is abstracted to modularly offer deep analytics capabilities that are leveraged in the solutions that we offer or can be directly embedded in our client’s system topologies.

The team: The team oversees the data, models, and relevant backend infrastructure responsible for modeling the global shipping market, monitoring movements, and commodity trades. The role is integral to this process, centered on the development of production-ready online NLP models designed to understand and interpret vital information within a variety of shipping reports.

You will act as part of the customer’s Technology Team, and you will be providing expert technical customer support aiming at a five-star customer experience. This role encompasses back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related Marine companies that utilizing Navarino Digital Service Portfolio.

In this role you will:

Azumo is looking for a highly motivated Python Fulllstack Engineer to develop and enhance high performing and scalable software infrastructures in AI, NLP and data-intensive software environments.

At this time, we will only be considering candidates based in Latin America, as most of our engineers are based there.

This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team and bright engineering minds. You will enjoy the role if you love designing and developing scalable, high performant backend infrastructure using Python, React + Django / Flask / Eve / FastAPI open-source frameworks and connecting applications to modern cloud-based technologies.
