Remote Bulgarian Translator - eCommerce Marketing Agency

posted by: spj_bot

We are looking for a Translator to interpret written pieces from English to Bulgarian, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.

Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of a given material (copy), using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English in addition to your native language.

Requirements

  • Native Bulgarian Speaker
  • Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week

Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role

Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

Good knowledge of content editing tools

Familiarity with translation software

Time-management skills

Benefits

For the first 6 months, we are offering $12 - $15 per hour. The reason we’re offering hourly compensation is that our copies are shorter and more tricky compared to other texts. We count the time our translators spend on researching and brainstorming too (as well as proofreading of course). Then, we aim for a 10% increment in your first year working with us. We currently have a team of 15+ translators and our translations team is constantly growing!
