One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior CFD Support Engineer - M-Star in Ireland or United Kingdom.

We are seeking a Senior CFD Support Engineer to become a key technical advisor and subject matter expert in M-Star CFD software. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in computational fluid dynamics, strong scientific modeling skills, and a passion for helping customers solve complex problems. You will play a critical part in providing advanced support, leading demonstrations, managing simulations, and contributing to R&D efforts. Working closely with clients across the life sciences, chemical, and materials industries, you’ll bring technical expertise and a consultative mindset to ensure high-impact engagement and customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role that blends hands-on modeling with strategic technical support, and includes occasional travel across Europe.

Accountabilities:

Within the Safety Case discipline you will be supporting clients as part of a team in projects of new build, decommissioning or ongoing operational facilities in providing safety cases and associated assessments.  To ensure work is delivered to a high standard, timely and to the programme agreed.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Principal Safety Case Consultant, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:

• Developing and presenting robust and reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner.
• Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in regard to technical excellence and the quality of deliverables.
• Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in terms of timescales and cost, in a way that supports the long-term growth of the business and its reputation.
• Managing this work (in the form of small to medium sized projects) either as a project or technical lead.
• Delivering the work within budget and to the agreed programme whilst keeping track of the project (all aspects).
• Liaising with all concerned of both technical and commercial progress.
• Developing skills in growing projects.
• Identifying opportunities with clients and supporting, mentoring, coaching and helping others to develop within the business.

Tarefas incluem, mas não se limitam a:

Recolher os SOC (Safety Observation Card) e sugestões da embarcação e lançar no DOCMAP. Monitorar prazos de ações e fechamento das observações;

Manter os SOC originais arquivados e organizados a bordo;

Inserir no sistema informações de segurança tais como: observações de segurança, auditoria comportamental, etc.;

Assegurar que sejam realizadas Análises de Risco, Permissão de Trabalho e Tool Box Talk antes de iniciarem as atividades a bordo, a fim de garantir que estas sejam executadas dentro das condições adequadas de segurança e de acordo com as normas dispostas na legislação;

Monitorar os documentos PPRA, Mapas de Risco, Plano de Espaços Confinados da embarcação;

Acompanhar as avaliações ambientais (PPRA, análises ergonômicas, etc.) realizadas a bordo sempre que necessário / solicitado;

Realizar (e participar) reuniões de segurança semanais na embarcação;

Realizar DDSMS (Diálogos de Segurança, Meio Ambiente e Saúde);
