What's the role?

Official job title is Finance Coordinator - Accounts Payable and will be based in our Dubai office.

The Finance Coordinator – Accounts Payable is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and for supporting the wider accounts payable function in an ad hoc manner. The role ensures that invoices are properly validated, approved, recorded and settled in accordance with company policies, contractual terms and the delegation of authority. The position combines high-volume transactional processing with additional basic accounting responsibilities, including supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, period-end support and maintenance of accurate accounts payable records. About the role

An exciting role exists as part of our Maintenance function at Journey Beyond Rail. This role will be offered on a permanent basis.

Key requirements of the role include:

• Conduct mechanical tasks, including overhauls, installations, and fitting of mechanical equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and unscheduled repairs based on trade knowledge and training.
• Undertake troubleshooting and fault finding for routine vehicle issues, which may occasionally involve complex problem-solving within tight scheduling deadlines.
• Identify and rectify faults in rail carriages, encompassing carriage air brakes, bogies, undercarriage, inter-carriage equipment, and the EVAC toilet system.
• Examine and interpret drawings and specifications.

About You

The Finance Lead provides financial leadership for DOF’s Guyana operations while maintaining hands on responsibility for day-to-day finance activities, statutory compliance, local reporting, and interaction with the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) and other relevant local authorities.

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, cash management, and compliant execution of finance and statutory obligations across DOF’s Guyana operations.

The role also supports local tax compliance, authority matters, audits, and advisor coordination as part of the broader finance function, in coordination with management and relevant regional support functions, as applicable.
