Position Overview

Reporting to the Lead Software Developer, the Junior Developer role is a hands-on development role contributing to Motia applications and services. Working with experienced developers, this role will contribute to developing, testing and maintaining real world software solutions with a focus on industry leading customer experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled D365 F&O Technical & Data Migration Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading data migration strategies, overseeing technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions, and guiding technical teams across global projects. This is a fully remote role for individuals with deep expertise in D365, AX, and data transformation using Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead the end-to-end data migration process for D365 F&O implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple modules.

•Design and implement data migration strategies involving legacy systems, staging databases, and D365 F&O data entities.

•Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of ERP data migration activities.

•Develop custom SSIS packages, stored procedures, and scripts to support complex data transformations.

•Build, lead, and mentor a technical team focused on D365 migrations and integrations.

As a Technical D365 Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will also advise on best practices, monitor quality, and support migrations and updates.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions within D365 using X++, C#, .NET, SQL and Azure services.
• Create and maintain integrations between D365 and external systems.
• Analyze and resolve technical and performance issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Advise functional consultants and clients on technical possibilities and limitations.
• Contribute to migration projects and upgrades from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Test, debug, and optimize solutions.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and define integration needs
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and technical assessments
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding HSO clients on best practices in Azure integration
• Provide mentorship and code reviews for junior engineers and consultants
• Lead code reviews, solution design sessions, and internal knowledge sharing
