The Acquisition Systems Engineer provides comprehensive systems engineering and technical acquisition support to Marine Corps Systems Command acquisition programs throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. The position supports the planning, execution, documentation, and management of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities, requirements management, risk management, and technical documentation development.

The Retube Tooling Expert serves as the technical authority for all retube tooling and process activities, ensuring that tooling design, testing, and maintenance programs are robust, compliant, and fully capable of meeting project requirements. The role provides expert oversight and acts as the primary technical interface between tooling contractors and the project owner, ensuring that all tools and processes are prepared, qualified, and performed as intended during field execution. This position supports the United States Marine Corps’ Program Executive Office Land Systems (PEO LS). An acquisition System Engineer II involves analyzing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) designs and production validation test results to ensure compliance with design specifications and requirements.  As a hybrid position, you will be expected to be in the office per the government’s requirements, but normally 3-4 days a week.  This job may require some travel.
