d2m Services is seeking a specialist to support offshore marine operations within the global marine department of a prominent O&G company.

Objectives and deliverables

You will offer technical support in the realm of marine assurance for a variety of vessel types engaged in the company’s offshore undertakings, which include:

  • Logistics vessels, drilling rigs, diving support vessels, floatels, and construction vessels.

Key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting quality control of OVID inspection reports commissioned by the company, ensuring adherence to OCIMF quality standards.
  • Assessing close-out proposals submitted by vessel technical operators in OVID reports and compiling recommendations for vetting decisions.
  • Offering ad-hoc marine consultancy, including technical analyses for vessel selection.
