DOF is actively hiring experienced Marine Engineer (OOW Engineers) for casual opportunities on various vessels. As a Marine Engineer with DOF, you would be maintaining our world class fleet of vessels. Our Marine Engineers take pride in our assets and work to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Offshore Marine experience as a 2nd Engineer (OOW Engineers) with DP experience.
• Hold a minimum Engineer Watch COC CL2.
• Current experience working on DP2 offshore vessels such as MPSV and/or CSV.
• Hold a current AMSA and/or Norwegian medical or similar.
• Hold a current BOSIET and CAEBS and MISC is preferred.
• DP maintenance certificate is beneficial.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented.

• Be Able to travel at short notice with Australian Work rights.

You will liaise with the vessels and ports to ensure smooth voyage and time charter operation in accordance with company procedures.

As a part of your role, you will:

Assist on the day-to-day secretarial and administrative duties of the department in accordance with the Company’s policy and charterers’ requirements.

The ideal candidate should have

·         Degree in Shipping/Maritime

·         Computer literacy, (experience with Danaos Software will be considered as an additional asset)

·         Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

·         Organizing skills, attention to detail
