Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounts Payable Manager, located in Monaco, in a role that requires meticulousness and precision, as well as adherence to a deadline culture.

The main tasks include

1. Vendor set-up process

Gather and verify documents required to approve a vendor and/or update an existing one, submit them under the corporate approval flow.

Assist the A/P Manager in the vendor screening process, as required.

Apply VIES VAT number verification whenever required.

2. Procure-to-pay process

Assure that vendors are correctly informed of the applicable purchase order codes and project codes.

Correctly post invoices against purchase orders

Apply the 3-way-match and follow-up on discrepancies with the Procurement dept.

Notify the A/P Manager and the Procurement dept., of purchase order variances, including significant foreign exchange variances.

Keep archival of invoices properly coded, following A/P Manager guidelines.

Prepare the payment batches as required by the A/P Manager.

3. Other

Actively participate in reconciliations with the shipyard relevant departments.

Fluent communication with the relevant Marine Procurement dept.

Fluent communication with vendors for any applicable query.

Vous aurez un rôle transverse en assurant le suivi et la planification des projets navals dans le respect des délais impartis. En tant qu’interlocuteur principal pour la planification des études, vous coordonnerez l’ensemble des Bureaux d’Études du groupe (France et Asie), de la phase projet jusqu’à la livraison du navire.

  • Collecter les contraintes planning des projets ;
  • Réaliser la nomenclature navire et projeter les besoins d’achats 
  • Réaliser et assurer la cohérence des plannings des études entre les différents BE, la production et les achats du groupe pour chaque projet de navire.
  • Réaliser les plans de charges des bureaux d’Etudes
  • Contrôler et suivre le planning d’avancement des études du projet (suivi des jalons principaux en accord avec la production et les achats).
  • Consolidation des dépenses études et projection du budget à terminaison.
  • Contrôle de la charge/capacité.
  • Contrôler les rapports d’avancements mensuels (charge et coûts) des différents bureaux d’études.

Requirements

🎓 Diplôme : Ingénieur ou technicien expérimenté, avec une passion pour l’environnement naval.

📌 Expérience : Minimum 5 ans dans le domaine de la construction navale.

The role of the Electrical Engineer includes the following aspects:

  • Support procurement of electrical packages : technical bid evaluations, vendor documents review (during bid phase and during execution), fabrication follow-up.

  • Attend FAT/SAT.

Requirements

  • Graduate Engineer (ideally electrical engineering)
  • English speaking. French will be highly appreciated.
  • 8 years experience minimum

  • Required experiences:
  1. Experience in marine / retrofit (FSO, FPSO) …
  2. Experience with E-House, including HVAC
  3. Experience in Oil & Gas, either for an engineering company, or for an EPC Contractor
  4. Experience in the follow up of Vendors for electrical Equipments (HV &LV switchgears, transformers, UPS, bulk items) and E-house
  5. Experience in construction follow-up
  6. Experience in precommissioning, commissioning & troubleshooting is a strong plus.
