We are looking for a 2nd Officer to join the vessel from 29.04
A handover period prior to embarking may be expected.

Rotation: 4 weeks
Operational area: North Sea / worldwide

As part of the crew on "Skandi" Saltfjord, you will play an important role in day‑to‑day operations, contributing to safe execution of work and maintaining DOF’s high operational standards.

What's the role?

We are seeking an experienced Geophysicist to provide technical geophysical support across the Company’s Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Engineering Development teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring exceptional data quality throughout the full project lifecycle and will be responsible for data quality assurance from the initial receipt of tenders through to the delivery of final survey products to the Client. This position requires close collaboration with internal departments to ensure surveys meet technical, commercial, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

Support for Sales

• Provide alternative and/or additional survey designs or layouts to more efficiently meet clients’ geophysical objectives.
• Review incoming data acquisition tender requests and provide technical responses, including technical exceptions, survey area maps, shooting plan scenarios and source modelling.
• Complete project time and motion estimations where required.

We are looking for several experienced Lead Project Engineers to strengthen the engineering team working within segments such as IMR, SURF, Mooring, Offshore Wind, Subsea Construction and Decommissioning. The position is based at our office in Bergen or our brand new office at Smedasundet in Haugesund.

As part of the DOF engineering department, you will plan and execute marine operations in the Atlantic Region and support projects in other regions. You will work in a positive, innovative environment with highly educated and skilled colleagues.
