About us

Due to the expansion of our fleet we are actively seeking for an experienced Deputy Operations Manager (Containerships).

As a part of your role, you will:

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day a container fleet vessels operational activities.
• Communicate with vessels and be the shore contact to provide support for all daily vessel matters including Commercial issues, cargo handling, navigation and route optimization, vessel schedules, bunkers consumption and stemming, regulations compliance etc
• Provide Instructions to Master regarding all matters and follow up to ensure compliance.
• Negotiate and conclude time charter agreements.
• Be conversant with S&P negotiations and MOA agreements.
• Oversee time charter freight collection.
• Oversee and control the agents’ appointments and FDAs.
• Handle vessels incidents at sea and in port and process claims with P&I and Hull in co-operation with insurance and legal depts.
• Coordinate a team of vessel operators, oversee their daily work-flow and provide them with supervision, support and guidelines.
• Co-operate effectively with all company’s departments regarding the vessels commercial, technical and financial matters.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

·         Handle advanced incident investigation, correlation, and in-depth threat analysis.

·         Validate and respond to escalations from L1 Analysts.

·         Perform threat hunting, malware analysis, and root cause analysis as needed.

·         Implement and tune detection use cases and SIEM rules/playbooks.

·         Coordinate with OEM L3 Support for complex incident resolution.

·         Support dashboard reporting, policy compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security.

·         2–4 years of experience in SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response.

·         Good working knowledge of EDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, and network security tools.

·         Relevant certifications preferred:EC-Council CEH, CompTIA CySA+, EC-Council CHFI, Cisco CyberOps Professional, or equivalent.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
