Location: Warrington or Abingdon (hybrid)

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing specialist design services to internal/external customers.
  • The production of design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time. 
  • Contributing to the economic design of systems and equipment. 
  • Overseeing the work of others and develop the skills and abilities of others for the benefit of the company. 
  • Providing advice and guidance on issues appropriate to their discipline. 
  • Actively participating in the development and application of appropriate technical and managerial processes and systems in teams work area. 
  • Organising, supervising, monitoring and developing the team to deliver successful outputs. 
  • Identifying major technical uncertainties and refer them for decision by higher authority.
  • Complying with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role.

Senior Nuclear Safety Consultant

Location: Warrington or Abingdon (hybrid)

As a Nuclear Safety Senior Consultant, you will deliver and help lead nuclear safety documents, across the full lifecycle of nuclear operations, for a variety of clients. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in regard to technical excellence and the quality of deliverables.
  • Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in terms of timescales and cost, in a way that supports the long-term growth of the business and its reputation.
  • Providing nuclear safety advice and guidance in multi discipline projects interfacing with engineers, human factors specialists and other disciplines.
  • Developing and present robust and reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner.
  • Provide technical checking and/or verification for technical / compliance / thoroughness of argument / QA standards.
  • Liaising with all concerned on technical progress.
  • Taking documents through the earlier stages of client governance. 
  • Supporting stakeholder management internally and for clients.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to Identify opportunities with clients to develop the business.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Warrington or Abingdon (hybrid)

Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK.

  • Delivering and managing technical studies.
  • Design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support. Typical deliverables will be issued: technical note, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams and flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, technical specification documentation review from supply chain.
  • Technical studies related to mechanical handling for both handling operations and heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, and compaction) in high active environment and gloveboxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies.

Engineering Manager

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for an Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager will organise, lead, coordinate and direct a multi-discipline design engineering team (including technical, safety case and supply chain as applicable) that delivers engineering work packages (specification, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering).

 Our Client is currently employed in a number of fast-paced and exciting projects for the design of nuclear gloveboxes for analysis and R&D work, including handling of SNM and MoX material. This work is for a number of different clients in the UK and the candidate will be deployed onto one of these. Experience in nuclear glovebox design, commissioning or operations would be a benefit. Experience in SNM or MoX plants would also be a benefit.


The candidate must be comfortable working on UK defence projects.
