About Talent Acquisition at LawnStarter

We're a small, high-output recruiting team that fills roles fast — 31-day average time-to-fill for non-evergreen roles, 30% faster than the SHRM benchmark. We hire across Growth/Marketing, Product, Engineering (LATAM), Design, and Executive functions. Our current open searches include Director-level, Staff Engineer, and Senior Product roles. The team uses Workable as our ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter as our primary sourcing channel.

The Role

You are the team's dedicated sourcer. You don't own requisitions end-to-end — you own the top of the funnel for every search that needs outbound talent. Your job is to find, engage, and deliver qualified candidates to the recruiters who manage each role.

Today, our two LinkedIn Recruiter seat holders split their time between sourcing, screening, pipeline management, and closing. That context-switching slows everything down. You exist to eliminate that bottleneck — one person, full-time in LinkedIn, accountable to sourcing metrics across all active roles.

Requirements

The Role

You'll own paid social acquisition for both sides of LawnStarter's marketplace — homeowners and service providers — across multiple markets and service categories while keeping spend profitable on each side.

The core channels are Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Over time, this role could extend to interrupt channels like streaming (Hulu, connected TV) and other push formats.

This is the hard part of running a marketplace: we broker work we can't directly see, between two parties whose interests sometimes collide. Get it right and people stay for years. Get it wrong and you lose customers, Pros, or both. Trust is the product — and increasingly, the systems that protect it are AI-powered.

For the Pros who do the work, running a business means chasing customers, dead time between jobs, and unpaid admin. LawnStarter is the marketplace that fixes both sides.

We proved the model with lawn care — it works at scale, profitably, across millions of jobs. In the last year we extended it to a second service: pool cleaning, now live in select markets. Getting there meant building the first version of a product that can onboard customers and Pros, match the two sides, get the job done, and handle the exceptions when it doesn't go to plan.

The Role

This is LawnStarter's first Director of Product Management — the leader between the VP of Product and a team of three PMs (and the hires that follow).

Your job is to make our marketing sites fast to change, beautiful, on-brand, and optimized for conversion — without needing an engineer every time something needs to move.

We're building a rigorous experimentation program across the acquisition funnel, and this role is the person who makes that real.

The Challenge

We know experimentation works. We've seen tests move conversion meaningfully. We have a testing program, methodology standards, a learning repository, and a coordination layer — but no one owns it full-time. Meanwhile, we're migrating our landing pages to Webflow, which gives us full control over the pages that receive all inbound traffic — no engineering dependency, no sprint queues. The opportunity is massive, but only if there's a dedicated person behind the wheel.
