LawnStarter is the nation's leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and related services, with over $100M in annual bookings. We're expanding beyond lawn care to become the one-stop shop for all home services—and ProBase is our first major bet in that direction.

About ProBase

ProBase is a free software platform for home service professionals, starting with pool maintenance operators. Our thesis is simple: give pros the tools to run their business for free, help them get more customers, and some will choose to get jobs through our marketplace. We're not a SaaS company charging $50/month—we're building a new on-ramp to the LawnStarter ecosystem.

The Role

This is not a typical product management role. We're looking for someone to take ProBase and run with it—like a founder, but with the backing of LawnStarter's resources, brand, and marketplace.

You'll be an individual contributor with GM-level accountability. Small team, big ownership. You won't be managing a large org; you'll be shipping product, talking to customers, and making the calls that determine whether ProBase succeeds.

Member of Technical Staff, ML Engineering

Our client is a fast-growing AI company on a mission to equip accountants with a team of AI agents to take on real workflows. They've already achieved product-market fit, with demand exceeding their current supply. Backed by world-class investors like Keith Rabois, Nat Friedman, and Daniel Gross, they've raised over $30M to scale quickly and have seen 10x revenue growth in the last five months. They are partnered with some of the largest accounting firms in the world and have an interdisciplinary team of top minds in ML, engineering, and accounting.

As a leader on the World Modeling team, you'll be a key part of defining the context and rules in which AI agents operate. This is a critical role that involves designing and building the "world" for their AI systems. You'll work on complex problems, such as how to model and explain accounting to an AI agent, and define the constraints for navigating this complex world. This is a high-risk, high-reward role with significant ownership from day one.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building the core world for AI agents to interact with.
  • Developing coding abstractions and modeling interconnected systems.
  • Defining the context and rules for AI agents.
  • Making critical technical decisions and debating trade-offs.
