We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join us in supporting DOFs supply chain activities. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth logistics operations and maintaining compliance with our departmental procedures.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will assist with the administration of project equipment logistics, including the mobilization and demobilization of project equipment at the Warehouse or Norwegian Ports. You will handle logistics and customs requirements for shipments to and from various global locations, ensuring the safe and proper storage of goods. General housekeeping in the Warehouse and Stores will also be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with our procedures.

Responsibilities:

In this position, your responsibilities include ensuring that DOF vessels always follow the rules, overseeing inspections, and preventing technical problems. You will monitor how our vessels are doing and take quick action if something isn't right. Another important aspect of your job is to make sure our vessels receive proper maintenance to avoid unexpected issues that could cause downtime. Communication is key, as you'll be the person to turn to for technical matters on land and handle interactions with clients when necessary. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure our vessels and fleet perform at their best.
