PC-d2m-273 Hull Marine Systems Engineer (F/M)

As part of a major offshore energy project, we are looking for a Hull Marine Systems Engineer to join the technical team as a resident engineer in China. You will act as a key focal point for all hull marine systems activities related to the FPSO, working closely with the FPSO Engineering Manager and the EPCIC contractor to ensure quality, compliance, and performance.

Supervise and validate engineering studies for hull marine systems: ballast, bilge, HVAC marine, cargo pumps, winches, cranes, offloading systems, auxiliary generators, etc.

  • Review and approve technical documentation, engineering drawings, and workshop plans.
  • Monitor construction and integration of marine systems at the shipyard in China.
  • Coordinate with vendors for selection, procurement, FAT, deliveries, and installation.
  • Provide technical support for commissioning, repair, and life-extension activities of hull systems.
  • Contribute to spare parts strategy and schedule optimization.
  • Prepare and participate in project technical reviews and decision-making meetings.
  • Support compliance with FPSO classification and regulatory requirements.
  • Report regularly to the FPSO Engineering Manager and escalate critical issues.
  • Actively participate in yard inspections and vendor site visits.

RC-d2m-257 Deck crew (Rigger/ Slinger / Signaller)

We are recruiting, on behalf of our partner active in Africa, to strengthen its offshore deck crew team specialized in rigging, slinging, and signalling.

This recruitment is part of an ongoing effort to reinforce operational capacity for maritime logistics activities associated with offshore production installations, including supply vessels, FPSOs, and platforms in Angola and other West African locations.

The role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant handling and movement of heavy equipment and cargo during lifting operations offshore.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and work under the direct supervision of the deck supervisor or boatswain. The role involves preparing, inspecting, and safely handling rigging equipment, slinging and guiding loads during lifting operations, and communicating effectively with crane operators and other team members to guarantee safe cargo movements.
