Java Engineer - Latin America - Remote

Azumo is currently looking for highly motivated Java Senior Engineers to develop and enhance high performing and scalable backend infrastructure used by millions of users.

The position is fully remote based in Latin America. We will only be considering candidates based in Latin America, as most of our engineers are based there.

This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team and bright engineering minds. You will enjoy the role if you love designing and developing scalable, high performant backend infrastructure using enterprise class frameworks.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and test robust Java APIs
  • Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solving a problem
  • Understand data pipeline needs and work with product managers to find solutions

Compensation commensurate with experience and candidate potential.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with enterprise class frameworks (such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring or any other Java enterprise class frameworks)
  • Deep expertise in designing and building robust APIs
  • Practical experience with open source technologies and products
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving
  • Professional English proficiency (B2/C1)
