DOF is seeking a motivated Junior Draftsperson to join our Engineering & Drafting team in the Perth CBD.

Reporting to the Lead Draftsperson, you will have the opportunity to build your career while contributing to complex and rewarding projects across the offshore and subsea industry. This role is ideal for an early-career draftsperson looking to gain hands-on experience, develop technical capability and learn from experienced professionals within a global organisation.

As a Junior Draftsperson, you will support our engineering, tendering, and project teams by producing high-quality technical drawings and design documentation across a range of offshore and subsea work scopes.

Requirements

Responsabilidades

- Desenvolver o fluxo de trabalho do departamento de desenho técnico

- Criar procedimentos e padrões técnicos

- Preparar e revisar desenhos (layouts de deck, aparelhagens, elevação, GA, storyboards)

- Apoiar projetos de SURF, amarração, conexão e manutenção de estações

- Apoiar equipes de engenharia e licitação

- Garantir controle de qualidade e de documentos

Formação Acadêmica / Técnica

Curso técnico ou superior em engenharia;

Cursos especializados em desenho e projetos;

AV Drafter

Key Responsibilities: 

·          Review and Draft AutoCAD Drawings, including – signal & power flow, mechanical, elevation, presets & layouts

·          Work with Planar Sales team to define scope of project and details to provide accurate drawings

·          Revise drawings as needed as project changes/grows

·          Support the Design Team with additional tasks such providing updates internally & externally, data configuration, short-term objectives

·         Design Team

·         Application Engineers & Sales Team Members

·         Project Managers

·         Contractors

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

·         Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and decision-making skills are essential

·         Ability to learn Planar products and uses quickly – previous knowledge a plus!

·         Familiarity with SharePoint and systems related to SharePoint like Power Automate & Power Flow

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate appropriate information to customers and team members in a professional manner
