Provide on-site engineering support at NIWC Atlantic, Charleston, leading enterprise GitOps architecture and CI/CD modernization for DCGS-N. Establish policy-driven configuration management, secure software media creation, and verified release distribution to tactical afloat and ashore environments.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and sustain GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Argo CD/Flux, Terraform, Helm and Kustomize solutions; automate build, test, security checks, packaging and deployment.
- Translate applicable Navy CM requirements, including MIL-HDBK-61A principles, into policy-as-code guardrails for baseline integrity, approvals and traceability.
- Lead technical migration from legacy CM platforms (e.g., CMPro) to Git-based workflows while preserving authoritative configuration history.
