The Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (SECVA) tasked the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) with reviewing current efforts the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) is undertaking that are effective in reducing Veteran suicide, and to identify innovative initiatives to further reduce Veteran deaths by suicide. A result of this examination is the Veteran Suicide Prevention FY 2026 Strategic Sprints. An enterprise-wide approach is required to streamline increasing interactions, promote alternative methods for chronic pain management, link Veterans with faith-based resources in their communities, and bridge the care coordination gaps between VA and CITC providers. Helpful experience for this role:

• Corporate knowledge of large-scale communications in a health care setting; knowledge/experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns; media analysis regarding social media platforms; experience with implementing successful communications campaigns in an integrated health care setting. Provide expert advice related to strategic communications for both internal and external stakeholders.

The IT Asset Management Subject Matter Expert will provide both strategic advisory support and hands-on expertise in process design, requirements analysis, policy documentation, governance development, roadmap planning, and future-state operating model development. The ideal candidate has deep experience across both hardware asset management and software asset management and can help stakeholders translate complex ITAM challenges into practical, scalable, and compliant solutions.

This role will serve as a senior analytical and coordination resource, supporting the Program Manager and acting as a deputy/backup when needed. The Senior Analyst will help advance enterprise ITAM strategic planning, governance, policy documentation, reporting, compliance readiness, and program execution across hardware asset management and software asset management workstreams.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting federal IT or management consulting programs, developing client-ready strategic and governance deliverables, analyzing complex program information, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
